"The Suparule 190 is a handheld Cable Height Meter instrument for measuring cable height distance, sag and overhead clearance. It is the present day alternative to measuring poles. The Suparule 190 uses ultrasonic signals to identify the height of overhead cables of up to 50 feet / 15 metres.
Ideal for operators in the utilities industry such as telecommunications and electricity, the CHM190 (Cable Height Meter) measures the height of a single wire. If the height of 3 or 6 wires is needed we recommend the CHM300 and CHM300E or CHM600 and CHM600E models.

How the Suparule Works
The CHM190 emits from the cone transmitter a short burst of sound. The instruments processor then calculates the time taken for the sound to be reflected from the cable back to the Suparule Cable Height Meter. The result is then shown in either imperial (feet and inches) or metric (meters) format on the user display.
A sensor is mounted on the front of the instrument to measure the actual air temperature and compensate for the speed of sound which varies in different temperatures.
To operate the Cable Height Meter simply stand beneath the cable and align longitudinally (looking down the cable line) and press the ‘ON’ button. This will power the instrument and allow the temperature to stabilise. The press ‘MEASURE’ and if required gently tilt the Suparule CHM until the result is shown on the display.

Faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied goods
In accordance with our Terms & Conditions of Sale, faulty or damaged goods may be returned if these have been inspected upon delivery or where not possible, signed for them as “not examined” and that we have been notified within 3 working days from receiving the goods.
Incorrectly delivered items must be returned in their original condition, in unopened packaging, as delivered, with proof of purchase.
Unwanted or incorrectly ordered goods
If an order has been placed incorrectly, and that we have been notified within 3 working days from receiving the goods, we may at our discretion agree a return of the goods, however these will be subject to a 20% restocking charge.
Where an item is bespoke or has been decorated returns will not be accepted.

CancellationIf ordering goods as a consumer you have a statutory right to cancel the order for any reason and receive a full refund including any standard delivery charges. To exercise your right you must notify us by email/post/phone within 14 calendar days from order acceptance or from receiving the goods. If the order is delivered in installments, the time-frame ends 14 calendar days after you receive the final installment. This does not apply to bespoke or decorated goods.
Goods must be returned within 14 days from cancellation of order and you will be responsible for returning the goods at your own cost. Any refunds owed will be paid within 14 calendar days, using the same payment method used on the original order.
ReturnsYou may return faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied goods within 30 days from receiving them. Goods should be returned in their original condition and we will issue a replacement or refund.
